The Department of Health’s ‘Health and Social Care Volunteering Fund’ (HSCVF) offers an innovative blend of grants, business expertise and sector specific support for more than 90 local health and social care projects. Primetimers has been one of the HSCVF managing partners alongside Ecorys, Attend and CSV. Together they have provided a wide range of support and expertise including organisational diagnostics, support consultancy, specific training and seminar days and a helpline.

The projects use volunteers to address health inequalities and support social care delivery including improving access to ante and post natal services for marginalised communities, using volunteers to increase support for older people in rural communities and helping people with mental illness to access relevant support service and support.
