Mary
Chadwick
 |
Formerly
an executive director of PaineWebber International Bank Ltd, Mary
has successfully developed and marketed private banking and trust
services to high-net-worth clients. Moving to the third sector,
she project managed for the DTI and gained extensive cross-sectoral
board experience from roles including non-executive director of
the North East London Strategic Health Authority and enterprise
agency HBV Enterprise. Mary was chair of trustees for international
development charity One World Action for seven years and joined
PrimeTimers in 2004.

Brent
Thomas
 |
Brent
worked in general management and human resources in the automotive,
chemicals and lubricants industries in the UK and Scandinavia. In
2002, following a period of interim management when he became convinced
that there was a fast growing sector of people who wanted to develop
portfolio careers, he founded PrimeTimers. Brent is also a trustee
of Family Action, the largest family charity in England and holds
a variety of private sector trustee roles. |
James
Alexander
 |
James
spent 12 years as Corporate Affairs Director for multinational company
Burmah Castrol, until deciding to seek a career in the voluntary sector
in 2000. After working for a variety of charities to broaden his experience,
he was appointed Business Development Director and then Managing Director
of CAN, Community Action Network. During this time he co-founded PrimeTimers
and is currently Chair. He is also Interim Chief Executive of We Are
What We Do Community Interest Company, and a director of several other
social enterprises. |
Tony
Buckland
 |
Formerly
a managing director of Deutsche Bank ag and CEO of Deutsche Trustee
Company Limited, Tony was also a member of their Charities Committee
in London. He has been a member of the What Next Advisory Group,
a joint initiative between the Oxford Said Business School and Common
Purpose, since 2007 and has mentored a variety of third sector organisations
including EKTA, Skyway Agency and the Walworth Garden Farm. |
Martin
Albrow
 |
As
a consultant sociologist Martin has provided thought leadership
and research for PrimeTimers since 2004 including championing
the idea of a Civil Society University (www.civilsocietyuniversity.org.uk).
He also works with International Futures Forum, a Scottish based
capacity raising charity and network. Emeritus Professor
of the University of Wales, Visiting Fellow
at the Centre for the Study of Global Governance, LSE, his books
include Do Organisations have Feelings? and the prizewinning The
Global Age.

Julia
Roberts
 |
A
communications/marketing consultant with extensive experience in
both the private and third sectors, Julia has worked solely with
charities and nfp organisations since 2004. She was a founding partner
in The Counsel House, a communications consultancy, before swapping
sectors. Since then, she has given marketing, pr and business development
support to a variety of social enterprises including the Bromley
by Bow Centre, PrimeTimers and Fairbridge Training. She is also
a trustee for Home-Start Barnet. |
Catherine
Tollington
 |
Catherine
is a social enterprise consultant providing business consultancy
in the third sector. She has worked extensively with social enterprises
including Community Action Network, Crisis Skylight, Aspire UK,
Accenture UK and the Bromley by Bow Centre. Catherine is a guest
speaker on social enterprise for the NHS management training programme,
is a trustee of Bow Childcare, a social enterprise childcare provider
in East London, and has recently completed a Masters in Social Enterprise
Management. |
Dawn
McNulty
 |
A
new addition to PrimeTimers is Dawn McNulty, who brings her extensive
experience as an administrator and sales negotiator in the private
sector for companies including Globe Estate Agents, to support
the team. She has spent the last eight years as training administrator
at Helix UK Limited, specialist providers of training to the insurance
industry. Here she built up a large portfolio of external clients,
arranged bespoke courses and became the training face of Helix
UK Limited.

Bernice
Rook

Bernice
has joined PrimeTimers as an Executive Consultant bringing her
extensive experience in recruitment and sales to the team. She
previously worked in health and social care recruitment for the
Vedior Group as Branch Manager at Beresford Blake Thomas and then
Resourcing Manager for Randstad. Bernice completed a Masters degree
in Occupational Psychology in 2006 and has also worked as a volunteer
at Leeds Survivor Led Crisis Services as a phoneline counsellor.

Jo
Simpson

Jo
began her career as a teacher before moving to work in the community
affairs department at Lloyd's of London. She subsequently moved
to the third sector, initially as part of the fundraising team
for Notting Hill Housing and then as a project manager for Shelter.
Having undertaken a
number of volunteering posts including mentoring young people
in Tower Hamlets.
Jo
has now joined PrimeTimers as Executive Consultant.
