New research by Primetimers into business mentoring provided over two years to 43 youth sector organisations, casts new light on the relationship-cycle of high quality mentoring. The longitudinal evaluation shows that, where attention has been paid to the chemistry match, it takes only two to three meetings before mentoring begins to change the behaviour and ways of working of managers in the sector.
This is considerably quicker than traditional forms of continuous personal development such as workshops or training courses. Mentoring is shown to be particularly useful to those who are grappling with major change programmes for their organisations. For details of the research contact jo@primetimers.org.uk
